April was Child Abuse Awareness Month and in recognition of this important prevention topic, Carlton County Public Health and Human Services, along with Carlton High School KIDS PLUS and Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Human Services Club sponsored an annual family celebration event.

The Carlton County Historical Society seeks volunteers to be part of the summer-long celebration of the Frank Lloyd Wright Gas station 50th anniversary in Cloquet. An information session will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 8, at the Carlton County Historical Society located at 406 Cloquet Avenue in Cloquet.
